The CityKidz choir attended the Alhambra Celebration: Re-Imagining, Creativity and Arts in our high schools. This event took place on Thursday night the 31st August and is an initiative aimed at publicizing and developing the Arts. This is out of concern for the fact that only approximately 10% of high schools offer education in the Arts.
There was much anticipation and excitement as the choir waited on the guests before they took the stage. They delivered an outstanding performance singing the songs Ntomb’emhlophe and Happy. Thank you to Emily Maseko for all the time and effort she put in to making the choir a success. The endless practices after school really paid off.
