Term 2 has been a busy academic period for our Grade 7 learners. The preparations for the controlled tests coincided with the Technology Olympiad, which took place on June 19th.
Our Grade 7 learners demonstrated their understanding of technological concepts through impressive results. We extend our congratulations to all the learners who participated in this Olympiad. Nanette Chingono, our Head Girl, Siphesihle Hlatshwayo and Keitumetse Minsi were the top achievers and will represent the school in the next stage of the competition. The reserves are Livhuwani Monyae and Onyinyechi Mhlambe.
We wish them the best of luck as they advance and earn the opportunity to represent CityKidz at district level. This will take place in the first week of Term 3. Here’s to Girl Power! Keep the CityKidz flag flying high, girls. We are super proud of you. A huge thank you to their teacher, Ma’am Pretty Ndlovu for her efforts and rallying behind the girls ahead of the district leg of the Olympiad.
