Grade 2 & 3 Awards

CityKidz Primary School was alive with excitement as our Grade 2 and 3 learners came together for their much-anticipated prize-giving ceremony. It was a day to celebrate hard work, growth, and the joy of learning—and what better way to mark the occasion than with a colourful Candyland theme?

Despite the sweltering heat, nothing could dampen the enthusiasm of our learners, parents, and teachers alike. The school hall was transformed into a magical candy wonderland, complete with giant lollipops, candy canes, and vibrant gumdrops that set the stage for an unforgettable event. The highlight of the day was, of course, the awards ceremony itself. Watching the learners’ faces light up as they received their Silver, Gold, and Platinum awards was heart-warming. These awards recognized not only their academic achievements but also their efforts in personal growth. It was clear that every learner who walked across the stage had put in their best effort this year. The Grade 2s and 3s also put on some wonderful performances, proving yet again that academics and the arts are often synonymous when it comes to exceling at CityKidz Primary School. Our principal, Mrs Reynolds, shared a heartfelt message that resonated with everyone present. Knowledge truly is the key to success and we hope that our wonderful learners continue to hold the CityKidz flag high.

As the day wrapped up, the learners couldn’t hide their excitement—not just about their awards but also the fun candy-themed treats that awaited them. It was a wonderful way to end a day filled with smiles, applause, and memories that will stay with us for a long time.
