Only two teams played, the under 12 and the under 13. Our boys started their soccer games rather apprehensively and uninspiringly but once they became more confident they did extremely well against some very tough opposition. It was great to see the improvement throughout the latter part of the match. Under 12 played very well and triumphed The Mossie Primary School by scoring 3 goals to 1. The goals of the match came from the boots of Sphamandla Ndlovu, Gontse Kungwane and Samual Mhlanga. It was great to see such enthusiasm and passion from our future soccer stars.
The under 13 team was unfortunate to lose the game by 3 goals to zero. They played their hearts out although they failed to score a goal even after many close encounters. The under 10 and under 11 were each given three points because the host school did not enter a full complement of teams to compete against us on the day. Our soccer boys did us very proud this week. We wish them the best of luck for the remaining matches.
