Term 4 Notices

14 October 2017
Term 4 begins

I would like to welcome all our families back to school for what will  be a very busy, but      exciting term. A special welcome to all new families and children who have joined the school this term. We hope that the nine weeks comprising the Fourth Term will be very successful and enjoyable. The festive season holidays are just around the corner!

Mrs Margaret Chabalala resigned at the end of the term due to ill health.  Mrs Saneliso Moyo, previously a substitute teacher at CityKidz ,has kindly stepped into her shoes. Mrs Saneliso Moyo  worked during the school holidays completing all tasks and familiarising herself with the Grade 3B class  work and marking all necessary tasks  in order to ensure a smooth transition takes place. Welcome aboard Mrs Saneliso Moyo!

The school has undergone construction during the holidays. Classrooms have moved and the entrance to the school is still underway. Work will continue during the term to accommodate three new classrooms for 2018.

The Pick Up Zone has been removed to make place for staff parking. Please note: There is NO supervision after school and parents are expected to be prompt in collecting children. Please arrange with transport drivers  to collect your child  on time or make plans to enrol your child at AfterCare. It is imperative that children are picked up straight after school! No loitering and hanging around will be tolerated. Last term we had an unusually high number of parents who regularly were late for pick up and drivers who arrived around 16h00 to collect children! Late pick-up is unacceptable and will be recorded on the attendance records and a fine will be given.  Children MUST go home straight after school. Parents will be contacted on WhatSapp if transport drivers have not collected children or if drivers are allowing children to hang around on street corners.
