After much anticipation our Grade 7 leadership team was announced this afternoon.
On Thursday 17 June 2021, Grade 2s went on a day trip to the Crocodile and Reptile Park in Chartwell.
Waking up bright and early on a Tuesday morning, the Grade 6 learners eagerly climbed up on the bus. Their eyes were bright and their faces had the most beautiful smiles. There would be no writing and school today, would only be fun!
If you went down to CityKidz on Tuesday, you would have been in for a "beary" big surprise! For every Teddy Bear that ever there was, was gathered with our little Grade RR and R learners on the grass for a picnic!
The Virtual Planetarium was a resounding success. The children were transported across the solar system in an unforgettable journey.
You could not contain the excitement of the Grade 7’s a few days before leaving for Konka. In the beginning they were so apprehensive after listening to our President’s family meeting on Sunday night because they thought the trip would be postponed, once again. On Tuesday when they were told “all systems go!” They were briefed about their responsibilities on the trip. The Covid-19 protocols certainly did not dampen their spirits.
Thanks to all the staff accompanying the Grade 7’s. Wonderful memories were made!
With much excitement, the Grade RR and R learners boarded the bus with their teachers and Lloyd as the adventure began to Rietvlei Zoo Farm. The bus trip was spent singing and taking in the surroundings outside of the bus windows as we made our way to Rietvlei.
We are proud to say that our learners were very well behaved and sat on their places despite all the excitement of the day that lie ahead!
Our CityKidz learners shone like bright stars throughout the day!
The Rietvlei Zoo Farm adventure was worth the wait and we cannot wait to return.
Our Grade 7 girls were treated to a very special tea on Saturday morning put together by Ma'am Vorster and her team.
Afrikaans is fun! Potjie food and great company. Thank you very much Annalene and Jaco! You guys are amazing!
