In a celebration of achievements and memories, CityKidz Grade 6 and 7 learners gathered for a spectacular Candyland-themed prize-giving ceremony. The event was a colourful and heartfelt send-off for the students, marking the culmination of a year filled with growth, learning and success.

It’s springtime at CityKidz and the school grounds are decked out in vibrant spring-themed decorations, creating the perfect backdrop for a day of fun and relaxation. The morning started off icy cold but warmed up, delivering an unforgettable celebration, brimming with mouthwatering braais, energetic music, spirited dancing and a dash of friendly competition.

CityKidz cares. On Mandela Day, the pet food collections which class groups had been collecting, were collected. The challenge was set by an appeal from the SPCA. Once more CityKidz demonstrated care, compassion and community spirit.
Yeehaw! The dust has settled at CityKidz! The country hoedown was a rip-roarin' success.
The CityKidz Spelling Bee has become a cherished tradition. Parents joined the captivated audience of classmates and staff, watching the sheer brilliance and nerve-wracking tension of word warriors facing off against each other.
On Tuesday the 30th of April, the Grade 3’s had their first trip of the year, to the Lion and Safari park in Broedestroom. What a trip it was! It was the experience of a life-time as our learners sang all the way, some with mixed feelings, and some expressing their fears. A plethora of questions kept on coming as the journey continued.
In today's world, instilling eco-conscious habits in young minds is imperative. Grade R learners across schools are leading the way in embracing recycling initiatives, turning their schools into eco-friendly hubs, and we are proud to say that- CityKidz is definitely a part of that positive change.
Friday the 24th was no ordinary day among learners and teachers in Grade 2 and Grade 3. There was a sense of calm and serenity in the air as our learners were taking part in the Africa’s Largest Peace Meditation. Mrs Paula Plit was very excited to lead the enthusiastic class. Learners and teachers were taught how to perform the Sun Salutation, they executed it with so much eagerness and joy.
