Alphabet

A for apple, B for ball, C for cat …X for X-ident (accident). The innocence of a Grade R learner has the ability to brighten anyone’s day!!!

So…On the first day back at school I asked the Grade Rc’s to revise what we’d covered during the course of the first term.

I was so proud when all my learners where able to recollect their sight words, not only its identification, but also spell it out using the correct phonic(sound).

Elated, happiness, joy, bliss & excitement , #sigh…(“, are only some of the words I can use to describe what I felt when listening to my kid’s give feedback on everything I’d tried so hard to teach them last term.

As an educator it’s truly the most rewarding feeling in the world when your learners respond positively to your teaching methods and grasp  the concepts, so accurately and with perfect pitch.

At CityKidz there is never a dull moment! I’m pleased to say that our Grade R learners are constantly being exposed to a world of wonder and positive stimuli. Our young minds matter to us and we are extremely fortunate to always be presented with an environment rich in fresh, and beautiful experience.

In the upcoming days we have so much to look forward to with the MMID Easter party that hosts a variety of thrilling activities next week; Shortly after the long weekend we will celebrate Mother’s Day in style. On the 13th May CityKidz is having a Family Fun Food Fair day. All our families can get involved and enjoy the day!

Thus far, it’s been an amazing journey and we are taking every day as it comes. Grade Rc and I look forward to the surprises each new day offers.

To sum it all up; I’d say well done Grade Rc, fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the ride and…

HERE'S TO YOU GRADE RC!!!
