Grade 3 trip to Lion and Safari Park

The Grade 3s had a phenomenal experience at the Lion and Safari Park on Friday the 10th of September 2021.

The long-awaited trip was worth the wait. For some of our learners, seeing wild animals was a first-time and unforgettable experience. There was an assortment of animals to see including wild beasts, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs and even a black panther! The star of the show was a family of white lions. A rare sight indeed!

We learnt so much from our tour guides. Did you know that the cheetah has ‘binocular vision’ and can see up to 5km away? Or that the cheetah is not classified under the cat family but rather shares more characteristics with dogs!
The Grade 3s had a truly memorable experience and we thank our Principal, Mrs S Reynolds for affording our little ones opportunities to gain such  exposure.
