The IIAL- Incremental Inclusion of African Languages project

23 January 2018

The following children were filmed for the IIAL project during the holidays. The IIAL- Incremental Inclusion of African Languages project is a highprofile project by the Department of Education. The focus of this programme is on speaking and listening and emergent reading skills. The children were filmed dancing in a green screen studio with the cute background and singing songs voiced over the music. These songs make up a component of Second Additional Language (SAL) lessons. The children will also be featured on DVD lessons that teachers can use in their classrooms to teach the SAL. These lessons will also be broadcast on the Mindset channel on DSTV in a few month's time. (Watch this space then parents may watch it with their children). Thanks to Cindy Moyo for providing support and motivating the "little actors"; Tshegofatso Madlazi; Sibusiso Moyo; Diarra Mabusa; Unathi Jiyane; Nontombi Mlotshwa; Emmanuel Mlondobozi.
