School Sports Day 2017

Sports Day 2017

Today was a full day of competitive sport! How lucky we were with the weather too!

Great team work, determination and resilience were shown throughout as children took part in numerous track events and the novelty races and of course, the sprinting team relays.

All the children tried their hardest and there were some outstanding performances from all age groups. It was lovely to see the children being competitive and determined but also showing great encouragement and sportsmanship towards each other throughout the morning.

Even though it was a weekday, thank you so much to all the parents who came to support the children at the event. It was fantastic to see so many parents supporting the children in all the different activities. The tug-o-war competition and parent’s races were extremely competitive.

Congratulations to ROAN House on winning the Sports Day Cup. After a four year hiatus they  were crowned the Interhouse Champions. Congratulations to Impala House for coming 2nd and Eland in 3rd place.
